Holland V!
Went to clementi for K-lunch with my friend Ailing. For once, the lunch there is sufficient. Beside, it is quite tasty as usual. This time, it is soy suace chicken rice. The 2 of us sang until we lost our voice.
After that, we went to Holland V for the first time. We really like sotong heads. We overshot by 1 bus station and had to walk 10 minutes under the hot sun there. All we notice was the Holland shopping centre and a row of shops. We were looking for coffee bean, but only found Starbucks. So we had coffee there and chit-chat for a couple of hours.
Later, we went to the Holland shopping centre. Other than cold storage, it wasn't a note worthy trip there, for the shops there seem to cater to the tourists. When we left the building, we wonder why is the Holland V like nothing like that. Just a shopping centre and a row of shops?!
Of course, we turn into the road between the shopping centre and the street of shops to truly discover Holland V! We both couldn't feel anymore stupid. Coffee bean! Jap restaurants! Bars! How could we had overlooked them?! That is the Holland V we were expecting! Anyway, as interesting as they are, they are too costly for us. I think they are meant more for tourists. We had Swensen instead after a long consideration, walking up and down thw streets like fools. LOL! Anyway, there is a mini-shopping centre with several shops that we found more relevant than those in Holland shopping centre.
A fine day indeed!
